The Vision

Art is a doorway to the places language can't reach — the dreamscapes, the voids, the quiet moments between thought and feeling. Subconscious Scape Studio is where those places live.

Every work is an invitation to look inward. My paintings move between surrealism, ethereal abstraction, and introspective landscapes, capturing everything from the golden stillness of The Solitary Watcher to the cosmic turbulence of Ripples of the Mirage.

About the Artist

I am Selamawit Dargie, an LA-based visual artist working primarily in oil and acrylic. While I have formal training in the arts, my true journey as a painter began much later, born from a desire to create more than I consumed. I began sitting outside for entire days, painting from sunrise to sunset simply for the pure joy of the process.

Over time, this daily practice evolved into a body of work I am proud to share. My skills deepened, and I began translating moments from my dreams and hyperactive imagination onto the canvas. Today, I use art to bring these inner worlds to life. This studio, this brand, and all of my work are dedicated to the unseen — to the profound depths of existence that we can feel but cannot fully fathom.
